Privacy
UGC Creator Database is a free directory of UGC creators, built from pages creators published themselves so that brands can find and hire them. This page explains what we hold, why, who can see it, and how to have it changed or removed. Last updated 1 October 2026.
If you are listed
Where it comes from. Your public portfolio or link-in-bio page, and any public social profile it links to, or what you sent us through Get listed. We never use private messages, logins, paid data brokers or anything behind a password.
What we keep.
- Your name or creator name, handles and links.
- The business email you published for brand work.
- Your location as you state it, niches, content styles and languages.
- Published rates, brands you list, and a short bio.
- A profile photo cropped from your own portfolio.
- The date each source was read.
- Optionally, an age range, gender, persona (such as “mom” or “student”) or heritage, only when you state it yourself, in your own words. We never infer these from photos, names or language.
Why. To let brands and agencies find creators who are looking for paid work. Our legal basis is legitimate interests: you published these details to be contacted about brand work, and the directory serves that same purpose. Heritage is only recorded when you made it public yourself.
Who sees it. Everyone. Profiles are public on this site and through our free API, which AI tools and other software can query. Anyone can copy what is public, so removing a profile here cannot recall copies made before removal.
How it is processed. A language model reads your public page to fill in the fields above. Nothing automated here makes a decision about you beyond whether your page shows brand work, and therefore whether you are listed.
How long. While your page stays public and you have not asked to be removed. If your portfolio link stops working and we can’t find a current one, your profile is hidden. After a removal, we keep only a minimal record that you asked, so you aren’t re-added.
Your rights. You can ask to see what we hold, have it corrected, have it removed, or object to being listed. Use the removal page (handled within 48 hours) or send us a message. If you are in the UK or EU you can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the ICO in the UK.
If you visit or use the API
- No accounts, no advertising, no tracking cookies. Page analytics come from Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies or a persistent identifier.
- Rate limiting. Your IP address is counted for a few minutes to stop abuse, then discarded.
- API requests. For API searches and profile lookups we log the query, the time, your IP address, approximate location (city level, from our host) and user agent. We use this to understand usage and stop abuse. Logs are deleted after 90 days.
- Messages and submissions. What you send through the contact, removal or Get listed forms (including your email) is stored so we can reply and act on it, and an alert is emailed to the site owner. We don’t use it for marketing.
- Your browser. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your own browser. The only cookie is the site owner’s admin sign-in.
Services we use
Each provider processes data only to run its part of the site:
- Vercel: hosting and analytics.
- Neon: database.
- Upstash: rate-limit counters.
- Anthropic: reads public portfolio pages when profiles are added.
- Google: sends admin alert emails.
Some of these are based in the United States, so data may be processed there. We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t share it beyond what is public on the site.
Children
The directory is for adults working with brands. We don’t knowingly list anyone under 18. If you think we have, tell us and we will remove the profile.
